Pro sports have sunken to a new low. Almost out of a Hollywood script (Slap Shot), several Indiana Pacers attacked the fans at the home stadium of the Detroit Pistons. Yes, the fans were at fault for throwing things at the Pacers, but the problem doesn't begin the items that were tossed. The problem begins with the way professional athletes are protected by their leagues and player's unions. When you allow thugs and miscreants to play for you, don't be surprised when thugs and miscreants show up to watch. It now appears the best career for law breakers is not the mob, but pro sports. Not only do these barbarians receive immediate praise from their team, but the player's union will surely defend them ferociously from any penalties. As much as I love sports and want to see my home teams win, I think maybe it time to just tune them out.

The players, unions and leagues better grow up fast or those who voted on the morals issue this past election may just do to them what they did to John Kerry.

Those insane animal rights activists are back. They have compared eating chickens to the holocaust of WWII. They some ridiculous slogan, which goes something like "A boy is a dog is a rat." Now they are launching Fish-Have-Feelings-Too campaign. Are these fruitcakes for real? What's next? Someone will moron will come up with a Plants Rights campaign.

If a PETA member was trapped in a burning building with a dog and fireman comes rushes into to help. Would the PETA member put his/her money where their mouth is and tell the fireman to rescue the dog first?
